Victoria / Langford beginner motorcycle courses

Learn to ride in Victoria with your MSA / MST included.

Urban Rider’s Victoria novice program is built around 23 hours of training: 16 hours on the bike, 7 hours of classroom instruction, and your MSA / MST completed on-site. Classroom runs at Barnes H-D in Langford, weekend skills training runs at Seymour Place in Victoria, and the Complete course adds supervised street riding plus road test habit coaching.

Six reasons to choose Urban Rider Victoria

  • 23 hours of structured beginner training with 16 hours of motorcycle skills work plus 7 hours of classroom instruction.
  • Two weekday evening classroom sessions at Barnes Harley-Davidson in Langford.
  • Two full days of Saturday / Sunday parking-lot training at Seymour Place in Victoria.
  • MSA / MST skills test is completed on-site as part of the approved course.
  • Over 20 training motorcycles across 5 styles, with helmet, gloves, jacket, and bike supplied.
  • One full year of alumni practice time on school bikes during weekend morning sessions after your course.
MSA / MST — what’s the difference?
They’re the same motorcycle skills test. At a school it’s called the MSA; at ICBC it’s called the MST. In Victoria, the MSA is completed on-site as part of the course, so you can finish your skills test with your instructor instead of booking a separate MST at ICBC.
How registration works
Book your weekend skills training first, then choose classroom nights that happen before that weekend when possible. If you purchase the Complete Course, traffic training dates can be selected later from your dashboard when you are ready.
