ICBC-Licensed/Certified Class 6/8 Motorcycle Instructor
For Teaching Online Theory
Urban Rider Motorcycle School is looking for an experienced Class 6/8 motorcycle instructor to deliver live online theory classes to new riders.
A current ICBC instructor licence is required
Applicants must already hold a current ICBC Class 6/8 Driver Training Instructor Licence. This is not an instructor-training position.
About the position
You will lead scheduled, instructor-led online theory classes for students enrolled in our motorcycle-training program.
- Teach live classes from your home in British Columbia
- Use our established curriculum and presentation materials
- Receive administrative and scheduling support
- Choose your own class dates and times
- Classes must run on two consecutive days, but you select the days and start times
- No minimum hours—you can work as little as you want
- Up to 16 hours of teaching may be available each week
- A signing or retention incentive may be available
Who we’re looking for
- Current ICBC Class 6/8 instructor licence
- Strong communication and classroom-management skills
- Comfortable leading an interactive class through Zoom
- Reliable computer and high-speed internet connection
- A professional and student-focused teaching approach
This position may be particularly attractive to a licensed instructor who currently receives only occasional teaching shifts, is semi-retired, or wants a flexible opportunity to continue teaching from home.
Work from anywhere in British Columbia
This is a fully online teaching position open to qualified instructors throughout BC. No relocation is required.
